Our technological innovative software, Valuation and Classification Modules incorporate enhanced functionalities of a Transaction Price Database system. The TPD is used in verifying FOB (Free on Board) values of proposed or actual shipments. TPD data originate from recently issued Customs Valuation and Classification (CVC) Reports (Transactional-based data) and therefore used to assess the correct FOB values of current imports.
The Transactional-based data contained in the TPD are gotten from two main sources:
First, as ITS CVCs are issued, the TPD is updated automatically with the valuing records.
Secondly, the TPD also contain Reference Prices that are uploaded onto the database on a periodic basis. Reference Prices are non-transactional values that do not relate to a specific Inspection Order (IO). The reference prices are uploaded and made available for use by all authorized ITS Price Analysts. The sources of Reference Price data include price lists, periodicals, and reliable Internet sites of organizations. The purpose of this type of data (Reference Price data) is to provide readily available price reference guide to ITS and its affiliates.
The TPD system which is web-based, provides a list of total number of hits ascertained from a search. A search can be performed by use of product name, description, HS code, period or a combination of the foregoing characteristics.
Below is a sample of the TPD selection window. The sample window below displays a list of hits ascertained from performing a search on Tiles.
