Hawanatou is an innovative and driven Chartered Accountant with over 17 years professional experience in areas of Accountancy, Management, Banking and Finance, Customer Service, Business Management, Relationship Management, Internal Audit, Administration, Public Relations, to name but a few. She strives to learn new ways of doing things and takes on challenges that are sometimes out of her comfort zone. Hawanatou owns her own training and consulting firm where she assisted and managed various companies with their accounting needs and also helped entrepreneurs build their business plan and scope. She delivers dynamic practical training for Corporate Institutions, bankers, students and SME’s.
Her experience in the corporate world has been strategic with significant understanding of business operations, compliance and strategy. Her strong background in financial and business management allows her to handle large projects with ease. She is able to set up and structure businesses and provide sound advice on investments, finances and business strategy in order to meet financial goals. Hawanatou is an excellent leader who is able to efficiently divide up tasks and take charge of managing any business when needed.
Prior to joining Integrated Trade Services, she served as consultant for various companies with a strong focus of financial and cost management. At ITS, she supervises Finance and Admin, Human Resources, Compliance and Valuation/Classification departments. She is adept to verifying all Classification and Valuation Certificates (CVC’s) for imports and Inspection Certificates (CIC’s) for exports. She has a keen eye for detail.
Hawanatou has a degree in Applied Accounting and is also a Chartered Accountant from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. She has also engaged in diverse formal and informal training in the fields of leadership, motivational and public speaking.
