Profile of Chris Boakai
Christian Abu Boakai is a disciplined and focused professional with a banking career spanning 12 years. Over the years, he has demonstrated capacity to give direction and support to the realization of corporate objectives and deliver value to stakeholders. He is a strong team builder with motivational influence and good inter-personal skills.
He started his banking career in 2007 with the Union Trust Bank Limited where he gathered experience in credit and business development working as a frontline officer as Business Development Officer for a year and half before leaving for another opportunity with Skye Bank (SL) Limited in 2008.
At Skye Bank he rose through the ranks in the Credit & Business Development Department and was pivotal to the success of the Organization after the first year tumble the Bank had. Eventually, he was appointed the Head of Credit & Marketing, a position he held for 7 years before eventually leaving for another opportunity.
Christian is currently Head of Operations at Integrated Trade Services SL Limited since March 2020.
Christian holds a first degree in Accounting & Finance from Fourah Bay College – University of Sierra Leone. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Procurement Management from the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) and a Master of Business Administration (Executive Option) from Njala University.
He is happily married with children.
